March 19: 3pm - POETRY FLASH READING WITH MERYL NATCHEZ
Art House Gallery & Cultural Center - 2905 Shattuck - Berkeley, CA
In this reading and conversation in poems, the poets will read poems that seem to speak to each other's work—from tales of the inimitable Frog and Toad children's books, the scenes from Reservoir Dogs, to the standard territory of love, sex, death and most everything else, except taxes.

APRIL 14: 6:30 PM - POETRY  WORLD SERIES
Mill Valley Library - Mill Valley, CA

Emceed by the incomparable Daniel Handler! Two teams of poets from the Bay Area and beyond, including MK Chavez, Dean Rader, Amanda Gunn, Austin Araujo, Steve Fujimura, and Amanda Moore take turns batting at poem topics pitched to them by the audience. Fastballs, curveballs, knuckleballs: these poets won't know what's coming next! Lots of laughs guaranteed. Umpires Jewelle Gomez and Andrew Sean Greer will score each batter's reading, and the winning team takes the series title. Book sale and signing will follow the reading. This is a free event; registration recommended if you'd like to join us at 6:30 for wine, beer, and popcorn! Program starts at 7PM at the Mill Valley Library.

APRIL 25: 6PM - BEFORE THE BORDERLESS BOOK RELEASE
The Firehouse - Fort Mason - San Francisco

The legendary Firehouse (site of Andy Goldsworthy's astonishingly cool fire show last year) invites you to the official book release celebration of Before the Borderless: Dialogues with the Art of Cy Twombly.  There will be wine, snacks, gorgeous views of the bay, and even some poetry. Make a night of it and dine at Radhaus or Greens before or after.

April 25 would be Twombly's 95th birthday. We will raise a glass to the great artist and celebrate both him and the closing days of National Poetry Month. The 25th is also the official publication day, so books will be for sale at a discount.

April 27: Marin Poetry Center - 7:00 PM
Please join us in Marin for the North Bay release of Before the Borderless.
